Mr. Argenio has joined the Stamm Law Firm in a special counsel capacity to the firm's estates and elder law practice after nearly a decade and a half as a senior attorney in the legal departments of Erie County Surrogate's Court responsible for wills, trusts and estates.
As a New York State court attorney, Mr. Argenio has handled hundreds of estates in both probate and administration contexts and also served as a referee and hearing officer in order to resolve a broad range of estate issues.
His professional experience includes: Probate (wills); Administration; Trusts; Probate Disputes, Objections and Contests; Examination of Witnesses; Discovery of Estate Property; Will Construction; Missing Wills; Judicial Settlements of Estates; and guardianship's for infants and persons with mental retardation and developmental disabilities. Mr. Argenio also handled hundreds of settlements of wrongful death actions for estates involving asbestos exposure, harmful prescription drugs, and other toxic substances.
He is a graduate of St. Bonaventure University, Stanford University, and the University at Buffalo Law School. He is a member of the Erie County and New York State bar associations.
